"Come home to comfort"
We don't just say it, we really mean it!
We custom design a system for your home that not only lowers the temperature, but also removes HUMIDITY!
What's the saying in Texas?.. It's not the heat, It's the humidity!
Did you know that by lowering the humidity in your home, you feel more comfortable at a higher temperature? Most of our customers that used to set their thermostat at 67 at night, now report that they never set the thermostat below 72 and feel more comfortable then they have ever felt in their entire life. That is the difference between a Joe Blow AC company and an actual comfort system specialist.
Did you know that 95% of all service calls are for something that could have been caught or prevented all together by having a maintenance plan in place?
That's right, when it comes to your homes AC system, an once of prevention really is worth a pound of cure.
Not only will we keep everything running at full capacity but we will offer insight on what you can do to keep your unit maintained between visits. And as always, we will be right there with you to get the Ac back on if it should break down.
Did you know that the best 1" "high Allergen" filter you can buy from the store is only 45% effective at stopping small particles?
Our basic filtration systems trap over 80% of particulates down to .03 microns,.. thats virus size.
And for customers with particularly bad allergies we offer a 90% solution and even up to a 95% solution.
Coupled with a UV germicidal lighting system that kills mold, bacteria, and viruses, we offer better than hospital grade air, right in your own home
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Free estimates are given to replace a system. You will receive a written scope of your project, including what permits will be required, a basic timeline, and which option of equipment you are choosing. We will also answer whatever questions you may have before we can begin.
Estimates for repairs can only be given once a diagnostic is completed and we know what repairs will be required, there is a charge for diagnostics
You should have your systems serviced right before each cooling and heating season starts.
#1 UPGRADE YOUR AC SYSTEM
The average home AC system accounts for 65% of the total utility bill.
Still think you are saving money by not changing out your system that's over 10 years old because "its still working fine"? Think again.
Just like a vehicle with 250,000 miles on it. Sure it may crank and run, but hook onto a trailer and go up a hill and you will immediately know how much horsepower you've lost.
On builders model equipment and lower cost units, the BTU to watts ratio known as EER or SEER plumets around 7 to 10 years old costing you more each month to the utility company.
The #1 way to lower your cooling costs is to install a Whole Home Comfort system utilizing variable capacity equipment or 2 stage equipment. these systems only use the amount of power that is required instead of using 100% power no matter what the outside temperature is like your existing AC system does
#2 UPGRADE YOUR ATTIC INSULATION
When you go into your attic can you see the wooden joists? If you can, you have less than 6" of insulation in your attic. EnergyStar standards today are around 13" to 15". Your attic accounts for 40% of the total heat load your AC has to remove. If you add insulation, the AC will run less in the summer and your heater will run less in the winter, SAVING YOU MONEY!
#3 UPGRADE YOUR DUCT SYSTEM
The Department of Entergy studies report that 90% of all homes in the southern climate have undersized and under performing ductwork systems, compounded by being in a hot attic with inadequate ventilation.
This is due to the previous 3 generations of home builders and "so called ac experts" using "rule of thumb" measurements instead of actual CFM requirements. Today's AC systems are more efficient than ever, but they are held back when installed with poor ductwork designs.
We constantly respond to customers where their previous AC company has told them to close off vents so that they can push more air into other rooms. This is laughable.
Let's say you need to water some plants outside and it takes 5 gallons of water but you only have a 3 gallon bucket. Can you push 5 gallons of water into a 3 gallon bucket? Of course not, no matter how hard you push you just waste 2 gallons of water.
The same is true with airflow. They are confusing VELOCITY with VOLUME!!!!
If you put your finger over a water hose the velocity increases and the water goes farther, but which way fills up a bucket faster? The answer is,....take your finger off the hose and let the full volume come out. Need even more water? You have to have a bigger hose.
#4 UPGRADE YOUR ATTIC VENTILIATION
What type of attic ventilation do you have? If the answer is a ridge vent only,...that doesn't work in the Texas heat!
Texas attics are routinely above 120 degrees and in some cases above 150 degrees!
If your ac breaks down and your attic is not properly ventilated and is above 140 degrees, we will politely explain that we simply cannot work on your equipment until the next morning. We have families to make it home to and we love our employees, nobody is putting their life at risk to get your ac back on under those conditions.
You can prevent this scenario and save yourself a ton on utility costs by having us install proper ventilation to remove the heat in your attic. Your, ductwork, AC equipment, and your wallet will thank you!!
There are many types of ventilation available and we will not only help you choose the best fit for your home but also install it.
Among the most popular are static, motorized, mechanical, and solar.
Solar ventilation not only has a temperature control but also a high humidity trigger. And because its solar, there is no wiring that has to be added and it DOESN'T COST A PENNY TO OPERATE!!!!
At Paradise Indoor Comfort Solutions we do more than just Ac and Heating and we are the experts when it comes to total comfort while saving you money.
Contact us today and you too can finally,...COME HOME TO PARADISE!!!
